Wool
Undyed yarns in chunky and finer weights. Heavy enough to wear indoors, light enough to throw over a shoulder.
Silk
A handful of pieces each season, in silk that drapes properly. Hand-finished hems. The kind of thing a tailor notices — and the kind of thing that lives in a wardrobe for a decade.
Ceramic
Mugs, small bowls, a low vase. Each one is its own object — slightly off, slightly weighted, slightly better for it.
Leather
Vegetable-tanned bags, belts, a few small things. The leather is the colour of warm wood at first; it darkens and softens with you.
